Description
Information: Since 31st October 2024, there has been a general ban on the handling and possession of switchblade knives of all kinds in Germany. They are now prohibited objects and the possession thereof is a criminal offence. The possession of certain switchblade knives is prohibited in accordance with Annex 2 to the German Weapons law, Section 1, Number 1.4.1, and only permitted to persons who have a legitimate interest necessitating one-handed use (such as due to the loss of an arm or a missing or dysfunctional hand), or use them in connection with professional activities (e.g. hunting, crafts) or sports (e.g. sailing or mountaineering). The same applies to commercial dealers or manufacturers of such knives. Consequently, the sale is limited only to authorized individuals. Please verify before placing an order whether you possess such a legitimate interest. Master meets class, temperament meets passion, form meets perfection. Forms of expression that literally merge in the Boker Mini Redencion by Ramon Chaves. A masterpiece of sophisticated knife art that takes the ordinary out of the extraordinary; puristic, lively, for an incomparable tingling sensation in the stomach. The compact automatic knife emphasises unreasonableness as the most beautiful expression of meaningfulness as soon as the blade is opened: explosive, powerful, adrenaline-fuelled! A passion for knives is the mother tongue of the US knifemaker with Mexican roots. His first pocket knife, a gift from his father, was more of a promise than a chance for Ramon Chaves: a Boker Tree Brand slip-joint knife. From then on, he was hooked and it wasn’t long before he took his first steps in knife-making. The response was so great that the designer has been making knives under its own label since 2010. His designs are consistently designed for durability and uncompromising robustness of all components. Characteristics that the Boker Mini Redencion embodies in its purest form. The drop-point blade made from powder-metallurgical CPM MagnaCut (62-63 HRC) makes nothing less than a statement. This blade steel is particularly characterised by its symbiosis of high edge retention, hardness, corrosion resistance and toughness. A decorative ricasso catches the eye, while jimpings on the back of the blade merge into the high-strength, ergonomic handle made of matt black aluminium, guaranteeing an excellent surface feel and a high level of safety at work. The intuitive operating concept, in which the Button Lock push-button dynamically opens the knife and safely unlocks the blade when pressed again, continues seamlessly. The Chaves-typical skull clip (tip-up/r), which is milled from titanium and symbolises the skull of Santa Muerte, the Mexican deity of death, is almost iconic. The chilli red aluminium backspacer with a concealed lanyard hole adds a fiery accent. In short: a genuine Chaves knife on all levels. The Boker Mini Redencion comes with a high-quality felt case. Handmade in the Boker Manufactory in Solingen.Warning and safety information:Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.
