Böker Plus MEK

Description

In collaboration with the traditional gun shop and long-time Boker partner Hansa Jagdausrüstung (hunting equipment) in Bremen we developed the Boker Plus MEK. The MEK is designed as a full-size and indestructible everyday knife that also meets the high requirements and standards of an official agency knife. The satin-finished drop-point blade made of Nitro-V opens smoothly and softly with nail nicks milled on both sides, while the proven and solid backlock reliably locks it in place. The emphasized thumb guard on the back of the blade with non-slip jimpings guarantees reliable control for all cutting tasks. The stainless-steel construction of the handle made of stainless steel (used for surgical instruments and steam turbine blades, among other things) is designed for uncompromising reliability and durability. Supplied with a four-way reversible carrying clip and a lanyard hole for attaching lanyards.  Warning and safety information:Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.
