Description
In the days of the Roman invasion in the first century, the Picts were one of the indigenous tribes of Scotland. In the course of the following centuries, however, they were ousted by the Scots and other tribes before vanishing completely between 800 and 900 C. E. The Celtic influence is clearly visible in the Condor Pictus, especially in the typical tendril texture on the blade, handle and sheath. The small front pocket of the handcrafted leather sheath for the Pictus holds three arrowheads.
