Description
Boker expands the range of the Blackjay (Black Currawong) and captures a new habitat in the EDC world with the pocket-knife of the same name. The Boker Magnum Blackjay’s extensive range of foods includes opening packaging and peeling fruit. The black-coated 440A blade with its decorative ricasso is reminiscent of the beak of the powerful-voiced bird and adapts perfectly to its surroundings thanks to several mechanisms for opening the knife. The pronounced flipper with a finger recess and jimpings on the back of the blade contribute significantly to work safety, while the thumb stud on both sides and the backspacer round off the tactical black camouflage mode. In keeping with this, the ergonomically balanced G10 handle picks up on the Blackjay’s plumage and imitates its button-like eyes with the solid button lock. Supplied with a practical clip (tip-up clip/r). Warning and safety information:Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.
