This classic bench stone has the highest available density and as a result is the rarest of all Arkansas stones – with maximum density for particularly demanding users and extremely sharp edges. Approximately corresponds to 8000 to 10,000 grit. The 10″ Bench Stone Translucent Arkansas is sized at 254 x 50.8. Please note that “translucent” does not necessarily describes the look of the stone, but is the name of this quality class/category. Oilstones in the translucent category can be even solid white or light grey, with the same high class quality like stones which are in fact slightly translucent.
