Description
An icon, timelessly modern! Mike Skellern, knifemaker from South Africa and the forefather of the successful Boker Plus Exskelibur, has pulled the legend out of the stone again to make the Modern Exskelibur stand the test of time. As a special feature, the powder metallurgical BKR-10 blade steel specially developed for Boker, is used. This is similar in composition and performance to the high-quality Japanese VG-10 and has a balanced combination of components that make it a stainless-steel with excellent corrosion-resistance and high hardness. It is rich in carbon and chromium. The cobalt it contains reinforces the individual effects of the other main elements of this complex steel for high edge-retention and strength. The Gentleman Folder is opened via the thumb stud on both sides, while the intuitive crossbar lock reliably locks the ball-bearing drop-point blade with a stonewash finish. The potential to become an enduring classic is impressively emphasised by the green micarta handle scales with a distinct ergonomic design, the reversible pocket clip (tip-up) and the lanyard hole for flexible carrying options. Magical, mystical, Modern Exskelibur! Warning and safety information:Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.
