The Evolve is based on an idea from Jim Shockey who wanted to create a multi-tool that was as light and compact as possible by limiting its features to the truly needed tools. As a result, the Evolve has a perforated stainless steel handle with black titanium nitride coating, and heavy-duty pliers with wire insulation strippers and a wire cutter It also includes a folding Havalon Piranta swappable blade that is engaged by a liner lock. For hunting applications, the Evolve has a folding gut hook that can of course also be used for other purposes. The bit adapter is designed for standard 1/4″ bits, while the delivered scope includes a double bit with slotted/Phillips head and the handle has room for two additional standard bits for a personalized set.
