The Mini Harpoon from Kizer was created in collaboration with James Buckley from Maverick Customs, who is known for his affordable and durable fixed-blade knives. Particularly striking is the large teardrop-shaped Harpoon blade made of AEB-L steel, which almost cannibalizes the proportions and geometry of western chef’s knives. A finger recess in the back of the blade provides the user with a place to place the finger for guidance during cutting tasks.
