Its 6.5 cm blade provides excellent control for carving, woodworking and other detailed cutting tasks, while remaining versatile for bushcraft and general outdoor use.
The 80CRV2 carbon steel blade features induction heat treatment with differentiated hardness across the blade. The spine is hardened to 59 HRC, while the cutting edge reaches 62 HRC. This construction combines a comparatively tougher spine with a harder cutting edge designed to provide good edge retention and precise cutting performance.
As an uncoated carbon steel blade, the 80CRV2 will naturally develop a patina over time. The blade should be kept clean and dry and maintained regularly to help prevent corrosion.
