Description
The Manix 2 XL from Spyderco is a larger, even more powerful version of the Manix 2 design. The Manix 2 XL Salt’s wide, leaf-shaped blade is made from Crucible Industries’ CPM MagnaCut, a remarkable particle metallurgy steel that challenges conventional steelmaking and offers an impressive synergy of toughness, edge retention and extreme corrosion resistance. Optimized for tactical applications, the blade is coated with a diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating to minimize reflections. It is supported by a high-strength ball bearing lock mechanism housed in a handle with fully skeletonized stainless steel liners and black G10 scales. The scales are both removable and feature the signature Caribbean Bi-Directional Texture pattern for an extremely secure grip. In addition to the DLC-coated blade, the liners, the reversible tip-up pocket clip and all other fittings of this knife are also made of extremely corrosion-resistant materials and have a black coating. Warning and safety information:Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts.
